“Cutting-Edge Sustainability: Kish Island Turns Wet Waste and Sewage into Energy and Clean Water”

The CEO of Pars Setare Kish Knowledge Company, located in the innovation center, has announced a groundbreaking initiative for energy recycling and industrial water production using a sustainable approach to managing wet waste and sewage effluent.

According to Rooykard Kish News Website, Siroos Khani, the innovator behind two key designs for air pressure pumps and pressure regulating valves in the form of a green house, shared details of the process. He explained that through this innovative system, methane derived from waste is converted into energy prior to water treatment. The treated wastewater is then utilized as industrial water, benefiting green spaces on the island.

Khani highlighted the significant impact of this project, noting that by generating energy from methane, household electricity consumption can be reduced by up to 50%, leading to decreased fuel usage for electricity production. Additionally, he emphasized the role of the green house system in fire suppression, with an automatic fire extinguishing mechanism integrated into the design.

Discussing recent developments, Khani mentioned the participation in the Cup 28 conference in Dubai, which focused on methane removal methods. He emphasized the importance of exploring new solutions aligned with the green house project on Kish Island to maximize benefits.

Recognizing the social and environmental impact of the project, Khani underscored the value of the green house initiative in methane elimination and energy management. He emphasized the project’s ability to efficiently utilize energy resources while fulfilling social responsibilities and preserving the environment.
