According to Kish Approach, the head of the Environmental Department of the Kish Free Zone Organization confirmed the observation of a whale carcass in the waters of Kish Island and stated that the cause of the whale’s death is currently under investigation by experts. Therefore, the report indicates that in the year 1399 (2020-2021), the carcasses of two whales were also observed in the waters of Kish Island.
