Over 90% of Armenians Unaware of Kish Island in Iran
In a surprising revelation, the Iran and Armenia Chamber has disclosed that a staggering 99% of Armenians are oblivious to the existence of Kish Island in Iran. The Chamber highlighted the lack of information exchange between the two countries, emphasizing the untapped potential of the Armenian market for Iranian businesses and vice versa.
According to Rooykard-e-Kish News Network, Horvik Yarijanian, a representative from the Chamber, noted that Armenians are not fully informed about Kish Island and its offerings, hindering potential tourism and business opportunities. Yarijanian also highlighted the economic benefits of increased trade with Armenia, citing a projected $10 million in imports from the country.
This revelation underscores the need for improved communication and collaboration between Iran and Armenia to capitalize on mutual economic prospects and enhance cultural exchange.
