Iran President-elect Pezeshkian Endorsed by Supreme Leader Supreme Leader
Supreme Leader of Iran’s Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei officially endorsed Masoud Pezeshkian as Iran’s new president on July 28.
According to Rooykard-e-Kish News Network,Citing Article 110 of the Constitution, Ayatollah Khamenei praised the recent presidential election as a yet another significant achievement for the Islamic Republic, expressing gratitude to the Iranian people for their participation.
The Leader also expressed prayers and wishes for Pezeshkian’s success.
In his address, President Pezeshkian acknowledged the weight of his responsibility, emphasizing his commitment to law and public interaction to address national issues.
He highlighted unity and adherence to religious values as essential for progress, pledging to serve the people with justice and fairness.
69 year old Pezeshkian, who won the presidency in a runoff, is set to be inaugurated on July 30, with attendance from top officials and delegates from 70 countries.
