“Baharan Cargo Launches in Istanbul to Enhance Services for Kish Merchants”
The launch of “Baharan Cargo” in Istanbul marks a significant step toward improving services for merchants in Kish. A member of the board of directors of Mehrgan Kish Transportation Company announced this initiative, emphasizing its alignment with the company’s development plan. “This advancement enhances our operational processes and elevates service quality at competitive prices,” he stated.
According to Rooykard-e-Kish News Network, In an exclusive interview with Rookard-e-Kish Weekly, Behrouz Azad highlighted that the primary mission of Mehrgan is to meet the needs of both the public and local business community while fulfilling social responsibilities. “Accelerating service delivery, achieving the desired quality, and maintaining fair pricing are the three core components of Baharan Cargo that we are committed to prioritizing,” Azad explained.
He expressed satisfaction with the capabilities established at Baharan Cargo, particularly regarding “capital circulation” on the island, which he believes will significantly contribute to Kish’s economic growth. “Current conditions allow businessmen to transport goods ranging from ten kilograms to several tons at the lowest possible cost and in the shortest time frame through Baharan Cargo in Istanbul,” he noted.
Azad further mentioned that Baharan Cargo not only facilitates transportation from Istanbul to Kish Island but is also operational on routes to Qeshm and Bandar Anzali, with company offices established in these locations.
Additionally, a board member of Mehrgan Kish Transport Company revealed plans to build a warehouse in Jolfa City in northwestern Iran to streamline transit operations. Goods will be sent to Kish Island for clearance, with delivery to owners completed within 15 working days for items transported from Istanbul.
Behrouz Azad concluded by stating that this new capacity allows for the movement of all goods except those produced domestically. He identified popular items such as clothing, bags, shoes, cosmetics, blankets, and sheets as key products sourced from Istanbul by traders and transported through Baharan Cargo.
