Kish environmental clean sheet; 8 months without a single day of air pollution

The Persian Gulf Island of Kish is enjoying unique climate conditions these days as other cities on the mainland grapple with problems caused by air pollution.

According to Rooydad Kish News Website, the Persian Gulf Island of Kish has a clean sheet in terms of environmental conditions, experiencing 8 months without a single day of air pollution.

Thanks to its weather conditions and natural attractions, Kish Island has recently become a hub for diplomatic meetings as more foreign officials visit the breathtaking island in the Persian Gulf.

The Cuban Ambassador to Iran praised the beauty and cleanliness of Kish, comparing it to the stunning beaches of the Caribbean. He expressed interest in investing in Kish’s tourism industry, impressed by its clean climate and attractive nature.

Alberto Gonzalez Casales also highlighted the potential for Kish to become a leading environmentally friendly industry hub in the region and a global model. He expressed his country’s interest in participating in significant investment projects on the island.

Meanwhile, Achan Todi, from the Indian Consulate in the southern Iranian port city of Bandar Abbas hailed the clean environment of Kish Island.  

“The cleanliness of Kish’s climate is exemplary; We believe that this island is prone to investing in health tourism and we are planning for the presence of Indian investors in Kish,” he said in an interview with IRNA News Agency.
