A group of Turkish investors visit Kish commercial port

Captain Dariush Hamedkhah, Director General of Kish Ports, has announced the visit of a group of Turkish investors to the commercial port of Kish.

According to Rooykard-e-Kish News Network,Hamedkhah emphasized the importance of attracting foreign economic activists by streamlining the investment process in the region, with the support of the Kish Free Zone Organization.

He stated that Turkish investors were invited by the Kish Free Zone Organization to visit the infrastructure of Kish commercial port on Wednesday, May 1.

During the visit, the investors observed the docking and traffic of ships, as well as the transfer of a drilling rig to Kish commercial port for maintenance purposes.

Hamedkhah highlighted the advanced facilities at Kish commercial port, including smart systems for mooring large vessels, which create an attractive environment for potential investors. He stressed the need to provide comprehensive information about these capabilities to attract foreign investment.

Additionally, the Director of Development and Trade of Kish Free Zone announced a 5% customs fee for foreign investors during the visit, a discounted rate lower than other countries. This incentive, along with quick company registration procedures, extended storage times in customs warehouses, low storage costs compared to other Iranian ports, and opportunities for importing goods for production purposes and low assembly costs, make Kish commercial port an appealing destination for foreign investors.
