New Political and Cultural Achievements as Kish Hosts International Sports Event

The head of Iran’s bodybuilding federation has expressed optimism about hosting competitions under challenging political conditions, stating that this event could lead to significant advancements in the political, cultural, social, and economic spheres for our nation.

Abdul Mahdi Nasirzadeh highlighted the robust infrastructure of Kish Island, which is well-equipped to host the international fitness and bodybuilding event. He remarked, “We hope that these competitions will foster a positive shift in the perception that many international federations hold regarding our ability to host events in the Republic of Islamic Iran.”

He further emphasized, “This important initiative can break down barriers and serve as a model for other countries, encouraging international federations to follow suit.”

According to Nasirzadeh, countries with a fresh perspective on Iran’s capacity to host international fitness and bodybuilding events may choose to align their competitions with the cultural values of the host nation. He noted that these events provide an opportunity for participants to experience the warmth and hospitality of our people, as well as the richness of our culture.

Kish Island is set to host the World Championship in Fitness and Bodybuilding from October 2 to 7. The tournament will feature athletes from 63 countries, with 600 foreign competitors joining more than 300 domestic athletes over the course of three days.
