“Norouzkhani” Represents Kish in 20th International Puppet Theater Festival
The puppet show “Norouzkhani,” directed by Mehtab Tabrizi, has been selected as the representative of Kish Island at the 20th International Puppet Theater Festival in the open-air section.
According to RooykardKish News Network, The selection board for this festival reviewed the submitted works and definitively selected 12 performances, along with one conditional selection, to participate in the open-air section of the 20th Tehran-Mubarak Festival.
According to this report, the musical puppet show “Norouzkhani,” directed by Mehtab Tabrizi, is inspired by the traditions of various Iranian tribes and aims to revive and preserve Iran’s rich cultural heritage.
The puppet character Haji Firouz will represent Kish Island at the 20th International Puppet Theater Festival (open-air section). Mehtab Tabrizi, the designer and director of this show, stated that “Norouzkhani” is a musical puppet performance created to bring joy to the audience.
It should be noted that Agil Zamani, Arya Sadeghi, Arshiya Sadeghi, Sayeh Saraian, Asal Chermachi, and Arin Nikoroosh are among the actors in the Mah Dostan show group.
